Delhi HC directs Revenue / Govt. to file status report w.r.t. assertions made by Sales Tax Bar Association regarding issuance of show cause notices to large number of assessees for discrepancy between GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B, and effectiveness of IT Grievance Redressal Mechanism set up in terms of Circular No. 39/13/2018-GST.

It finds prima facie merit in petitioner’s contention that reply under grievance mechanism should specifically deal with issue raised and indicate the manner in which same has been resolved and addressed.
